I have a computer in between what these two photos show...actually two flatscreens so I have lots of room. I need it for all the stuff I have to keep open all the time!

On the other side I have the dreaded phone...it's ringing usually brings an unhappy person into my life...and photos of Nice and Paris to remind me why I'm working!

I'm working a ten hour day (10 and 1/2 including lunch) and the day has still flown by! Thought you guys might want to see my desk. Maybe not.

On one side of my big cube I have tons of reference paperwork tacked up along with a little Husky I bought Mike years ago. You'll also notice my super cool TRI-AD water bottle.

Sigh, I love peonies.

This is supposedly a 400 sqft appartment...I can't believe how elegant such a small space can look.

There is something about small make-shift bars that is such a classy throw-back. I created one today on our kitchen counter that I hope will someday move to our dining nook, but it will serve a purpose for now. These were my inspirations:

I am going to insist that something similar is taken of me next time I'm somewhere fabulous. You can't take a photo like this in the United States.

This weekend has been productive so far. Even though I woke up at 9:00, I stayed in bed until almost 11:00...I couldn't believe the puppies let me! Maybe I should backtrack and include the tiny detail that Mike spent the night in Long Beach at his dad's because they had an early morning round of golf. That meant I got the Queen size bed allllll to myself. I tried to let the pups sleep with me but ultimately got selfish and kicked them out.

I woke up, cleaned the ENTIRE apartment minus vacuuming (Mike's job), worked out for a long time, I think an hour, took a shower, and have been studying for my exams for work ever since. Phew! Mike has been up in Long Beach all day so it has just been me and the sleeping pups. While they've been cuddle bears, I've been a busy little bee.
