Well...

Now that I have actually shared the address to my blog I guess I actually have to update it. There's a concept.

I don't exactly have any good news. I didn't get the job I was fairly certain I would get. They said it was mainly because the position was part-time (although part-time with a lot of hours) and that they would rather find me a full-time position so I wouldn't have to A) take a second job and B) leave for a full-time position. I know they want to find me something that works for the both of us, but I still can't help but be disappointed.

I went to the next beach town South yesterday and took the Pacific Coast Highway back home. I explored the downtown region of my town a little and the whole experience blew my mind. I just kept thinking "I can't believe I actually live here!" It really is a mindblowingly beautiful place.

I had a difficult time the first few days adjusting to being away from my family, but I really am loving it down here. Just being in the sun every day is having a healing effect and I'm beginning to feel like I'm waking up again after such a difficult past year. Things are finally starting to feel okay again and that is an AMAZING feeling.
